Trip to Monaco

Ben and I took the train from Nice to Monaco for the afternoon. We wisely packed a sack lunch and wandered around the town. We ended up eating in a garden/park — a highlight of the visit. Ben was curious about seeing the sovereign city-state for the famous F1 race and I had the loose tie of the rom-com “Monte Carlo” piquing my interest in the place. It was beautiful and opulent but lacked a bit of life.
